Do you KNOW?


  Many people think they need to do something to earn God's love and some think they will never be good enough or do enough good things to make it to heaven. The truth is, NONE of us are good enough! No matter how good a person may look on the outside, we all have the same problem on the inside. We have ALL sinned; we have all broken God's laws; we have all done bad things.  

The Bible says, “…all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”  (Romans 3:23 NIV)

God is perfect and holy; He has never sinned or done any wrong. Because God is so pure, He cannot look at our sin. Our sin has separated us from Him. Our sins have sentenced us to hell - eternal separation from God in the lake of fire.

But, God loves us so much that He made a way for our sins to be forgiven, to save us from the punishment we deserve, and for us to be close to Him.

Here is what the Bible, God's Holy Word, has to say about it:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16 NIV)

I pray that today you will know -- know Jesus; know your sins are forgiven; know you are on your way to heaven.
