No tree was adorned so beautifully
As the one that stood at Calvary
Upon which hung God's love come down
A promise of hope in that thorny crown
A day marked with sadness
For the price that He paid
He was thinking of tomorrow
Bought with blood, souls to save
No...
No tree was adorned so beautifully
As the one that gave true life to me
And to all who accept
The gift is free
He paid it that day at Calvary.
