As we face uncertain times, many people are going through the valley. A seemingly dark valley, with no light in sight. People losing everything, even their own family due to stress. We must first seek the Father, His kingdom before trying to figure out the times in which we live. It is so easy to be deceived, things that sound right or fit our comfort level, but our Father did not put us here for our comfort. Living in the USA sometimes that is hard to understand, but we are put here to serve Him, to bring Glory to His name. To be a light unto Him. To take up our cross, daily. It is hard, sometimes very painful. But, it is only for a time. A very short time. He is so worth the pain many have to endure daily.
When all feels hopeless, it's not. He is there, even when it seems as though He is not. It is the times that we can sing in the storm that show the strength of our faith, not during the easy times. It is the times when we reach out to those who need HIM, even if they have hurt us, that show our love. It is the times when we can give up something important to us, to give to a stranger, that shows our compassion. It is in the times when He feels the most distant, but yet we still believe that shows our belief in Him. When we don't need the miraculous to show us He is there, you just know.You know that He is taking care of you, in the best sort of way, even if it doesn't feel that way. That shows your trust in Him.
I want to encourage you all to seek first His Kingdom, and cast all your cares on Him. We live in scary times, but when He is for us, who can be against us. This world can break our bodies but it cannot break our spirit. What is going on, is foretold, we are living in a predestined state, we must pray with all our might, and leave what will be in His hands. To move forward with His guidance. To be mighty soldiers of His Word. We already know the end of the story...He wins.
So step forward with me, and not look at the scary things around us, to keep our focus upward and be a light to those who need Him so much, Through Him, he shines His light in us to those around us. When people's lives are falling apart around them, love them with His love. When things happen that cause fear in our hearts, put away that fear and march on, knowing that He wins, and He won't leave us behind.
